Well work projects and other home projects have really slowed this one down. So the other day feeling pretty unmotivated I asked a friend to help me set the bike down on the ground so I can have a look at how things are taking shape from a more natural perspective. This if the first time its actually been off the bench. It was just what I needed to see. It really made me feel better about all the time thats gone into it.

I hope to get more garage time come mid Feb for the time being all i have enough time for down there is to take pictures.

Picked up a APE the other month and have been working with it. Added a takegwa 115 dry clutch motor and a few other things. pretty fun bike for the city.



Its not all that bigger then a modded monkey bike. I always thought Apes were bigger.

Here is some update to my chaly project. I got it back from the painters over the weekend. Also installed a NICE 137cc motor, G-Craft wheels, FCR28 carb, Over GP system, shift up bars, Daytona shocks, and a 12 volt wiring harness.

Its pretty close to being road worthy at this point. Should have it finished up by this weekend.

Here are a couple updates on the chaly.

got the seat recovered and finished sorting out the electrical.

Just need to fab up an intake for the carb and its pretty much done.


As for the APE, ive started doing some work to it as well. Ive sourced some OVER Racing stuff including a set of wheels. I chose OVERs over any others because you can get their rear 12" in 3.5" wide. Im going to run KSR forks but im re working them cause stock they are too soft. So im changing out the springs and adding some emulators for adjustable damping. while they are apart i also plan to hand anodize the upper forks black and Titainum Nitride coat the fork lowers.
